Baitul Ma’mur, The “Frequented House”

Baitul Ma’mur, also known as the “Frequented House”, is a prototype of Kabah, the House of Allah (SWT), and it is located outside of the human realm. It is located directly above the Kabah in the highest Heavens,i.e. the seventh Heaven, and just above it, is Allah’s (SWT) throne. This sacred and Holy house is also mentioned in Surah Tur of the Holy Quran, where Allah (SWT) says: “And by the Bait-ul-Ma'mur (the house over the heavens parable to the Kabah at Makkah, continuously visited by the angels)” (Holy Quran Surah 52:4)

Umrah (Minor pilgrimage)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "(The performance of) `Umra is an expiation for the sins committed (between it and the previous one). And the reward of Hajj Mabrur (the one accepted by Allah) is nothing except Paradise." حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْعُمْرَةُ إِلَى الْعُمْرَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُمَا، وَالْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلاَّ الْجَنَّةُ ‏"‏‏.‏

Masjid-e-Quba is the first mosque in the history of Islam.

﷽ Our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) said : "Whoever makes ablutions at home and then goes and prays in the Mosque of Quba, he will have a reward like that of an Umrah." Reported by Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Al-Nasa-i, Ibn Majah and Hakim al-Nishaburi.
